168.9cc Engine + 330 lb Max Load — Real 200cc Power for Full-Sized Adult Riders
We engineered the Tank 200 around a Xinba 168.9cc 4-stroke air-cooled engine (7.0 kW, 11.0 N·m) paired with a 330-lb maximum load capacity — 88 lb more than the 242 lb cap on Competitor A. The result is a genuinely high-capacity 200cc-class moped that comfortably accommodates full-sized adult riders, including riders carrying gear. EPA & DOT certified for legal street use in 48 states (NOT California).
Full LED Lighting — Head, Tail & Turn Signals — Street-Legal Visibility
Every lamp on the Tank 200 is LED. The front headlight delivers superior brightness for safer night and dusk riding. LED tail lights and LED turn signals ensure proper road signaling, with DOT-compliant reflectors adding passive visibility. The complete LED package meets DOT requirements and measurably improves rider safety in low-light conditions — not a halogen-and-incandescent hybrid common at this price point.
Windscreen + Handlebar Guards — Standard Equipment Not Found on Competing Models
A factory-installed small windscreen deflects wind pressure at city speeds (25–45 MPH), reducing upper-body fatigue on daily commutes. Standard handlebar guards on both ends protect your hands from wind chill, light rain splash, and accidental contact. No competing 150–200cc moped at this price — Competitor A, Competitor B, or Competitor C — includes both features as standard equipment. On the Tank 200, both ship from the factory.
1.85-Gallon Fuel Tank + 55+ MPH — Extended Range, City-to-Suburb Capable
The 1.85-gallon fuel tank extends riding range between fill-ups for daily commuters — at the estimated 60–70 MPG, that is approximately 111–130 miles per tank at typical commuting speeds. 55+ MPH top speed covers city road limits (35–45 MPH) with comfortable headroom for confident overtakes. CVT fully automatic belt drive — twist and go, no clutch, no shifting, no gear changes.

| Suitable Riding Environments | City streets, suburban roads, campus areas — on-road street-legal use in 48 states (not CA) |
We built the Tank 200 for adult riders who want a serious, full-capacity 200cc-class commuter without paying the premium for Electronic Fuel Injection. The 168.9cc carbureted engine reaches 55+ MPH and handles city streets and suburban roads up to 45 MPH speed limits with confidence. The 330 lb max load capacity — 88 lb more than Competitor A's 242 lb — fits full-sized adult riders plus light gear. At a low 29.5-inch seat height (nearly 6 inches lower than Competitor A), riders from 4'10" to 6'2" can comfortably reach the ground with both feet — one of the lowest seat heights in the 200cc category. A motorcycle license is required. Not available in California.
California residents — this moped is NOT CARB certified and cannot be legally sold, registered, or operated in California. Riders without a motorcycle license — a motorcycle license or endorsement is required to operate a 168.9cc moped on public roads in most U.S. states. Riders who require a rear storage trunk — the Tank 200 does not include a trunk; if rear storage is a priority, consider a model that includes trunk accessories. Riders who need highway speeds above 55 MPH — the Tank 200 tops out at 55+ MPH and is designed for city streets and suburban roads, not sustained freeway riding. Riders who frequently start in sustained cold weather below ~50°F — a carbureted engine requires manual choke use in cold starts; the Tank 200 EFI (MC-P009) is the better choice if cold-start convenience matters.

Description
We built the X-PRO Tank 200 for adult riders who want a serious, full-capacity 200cc-class commuter without paying the premium for Electronic Fuel Injection. The Tank 200 runs a 168.9cc air-cooled 4-stroke engine with a PD24J carburetor through a CVT automatic transmission: no clutch, no shifting. It is EPA and DOT certified, making it street-legal in 48 U.S. states (not California). At $1,179.95, it stands out in its category through measurable, factory-installed advantages: a 330 lb maximum load capacity (vs. 242 lb on Competitor A), a 29.5-inch low seat height (one of the lowest in the 200cc class), a factory windscreen, standard handlebar guards, a full LED lighting package, and an LCD display with dual USB (Type-C + Type-A) charging ports.
Real 200cc Power. Real Adult-Sized Capacity. Honest Carbureted Value.
The 330 lb max load capacity is the practical advantage you notice first: this moped is sized and rated for full-grown adult riders, including riders carrying gear. Competitor A is rated for only 242 lb — a 88 lb gap that determines who can ride comfortably and safely. The 168.9cc engine delivers 7.0 kW of power and 11.0 N·m of torque — top speed exceeds 55 MPH under typical conditions, well-suited to city streets and suburban roads with speed limits up to 45 MPH.
1.85-Gallon Tank + Complete Street-Legal Package
The 1.85-gallon fuel tank provides an estimated 111–130 mile range at typical commuting speeds (60–70 MPG estimated). The 29.5-inch low seat — nearly 6 inches lower than Competitor A — lets riders from 4 feet 10 inches and up place both feet flat on the ground. The complete street-legal safety package: front disc brake, rear drum, full LED head/tail/turn lighting with DOT-compliant reflectors, horn, kill switch, hand brake lever, LCD speedometer, and Type-C + Type-A dual USB charging ports for your devices on the go. Maximum load capacity: 330 lb. Available in four colors: Matte Black, Matte Blue, Red, and White.
Windscreen + Handlebar Guards — Standard, Not Aftermarket
Two rider-protection features set the Tank 200 apart in this price tier: a factory-installed small windscreen that deflects airflow away from your chest and arms at commuting speeds, and protective handlebar guards on both handlebar ends that shield your hands from wind chill, light rain splash, and road debris. These are not aftermarket add-ons — they ship from the factory standard. The carbureted PD24J is also a practical advantage for hands-on owners: simpler than EFI, field-serviceable, and cheap to replace. Note: 'Tank 200' refers to the 200cc engine class category; actual displacement is 168.9cc, the standard industry convention for this engine platform.
IMPORTANT: The X-PRO Tank 200 is EPA and DOT certified for street-legal operation in 48 U.S. states. This vehicle is NOT CARB certified — it cannot be legally sold, titled, registered, or operated in California. A motorcycle endorsement or motorcycle license is required in most U.S. states for a 168.9cc moped — check your local DMV before riding. Top speed of 55+ MPH is suitable for city streets and suburban roads up to 45 MPH speed limits; not recommended for sustained highway use.
X-PRO has operated in the U.S. powersports market for over 20 years as a licensed motorcycle dealer. When you buy the Tank 200, you are buying from a dealer with two company-owned warehouses in California and Texas, a U.S.-based support team, and full OEM replacement parts stocked before the vehicle goes on sale. Frame warranty: 1 year. Parts and battery warranty: 90 days — substantially longer than the 30-day coverage offered by most competing 200cc-class brands. Support is handled in-house — not routed to an overseas contact form.

Before You Buy
California Residents — Do Not Purchase
This vehicle does not meet California Air Resources Board (CARB) emission standards and is not for sale or use in the state of California. California residents should not purchase this vehicle.
1 · Stay Connected — We Need to Reach You
After your order ships, our team will contact you by phone and email to coordinate delivery. Answer calls from unfamiliar numbers — our team and your carrier may call from numbers you don't recognize. Check your email daily, including your spam folder, until your vehicle arrives. Without a valid, reachable contact number, your carrier cannot complete delivery. If we cannot reach you, your order may be returned at your expense.
2 · Shipping & Delivery — LTL Freight
Your vehicle ships via LTL (Less-than-Truckload) freight from our U.S. warehouse. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment — make sure your contact information is current. Large freight trucks cannot enter narrow roads or tight residential areas. You must meet the driver at an accessible point, or arrange terminal pickup if needed. Inspect the vehicle carefully before signing the delivery receipt. If damage is found, note it on the receipt and contact us immediately with photos.
3 · Assembly & Setup
Professional mechanic assembly is highly recommended. Improper DIY assembly voids safety guarantees and can lead to mechanical failure — incorrect assembly is one of the leading causes of early issues with new vehicles. Regardless of who assembles it, you must tighten all bolts and apply thread-locker (Loctite) before the first ride. Vibration will loosen factory settings during use, causing parts to fall off or break. This is a required pre-ride step, not a defect.
4 · Engine Maintenance — Gas Models (Carbureted)
Change the engine oil before your first ride — factory fill is a break-in oil not suitable for extended use. Skipping this step is the leading cause of engine seizure on new vehicles. Use 10W-40 4-stroke motorcycle oil and 87 octane fresh fuel only. For cold-weather starts (below ~50°F), use the choke per the owner's manual; gradually open it as the engine warms. If the engine sits unused for more than 30 days, drain the carburetor float bowl before next use to prevent gum buildup. Do not use high-pressure washers near the engine, carburetor, or electrical components. Drain fuel for long-term storage. Store in a dry area.
5 · Real-World Performance
Top speed and power output are measured under optimal conditions. Actual performance varies based on rider weight, terrain type, road conditions, and ambient temperature. Fuel quality also affects performance — always use 87 octane fresh gasoline. Riders near or above the 330 lb max load may notice a reduction in top speed and acceleration. Estimated 60–70 MPG fuel economy varies with riding conditions. Do not expect maximum rated performance in all real-world riding conditions.
6 · Storage
For long-term storage (30 days or more), drain the fuel tank AND the carburetor float bowl — stale fuel is the leading cause of carbureted moped starting issues. Disconnect the 12V starter battery if storing for more than 60 days to prevent discharge. Store the vehicle indoors in a dry, temperature-stable environment, covered to protect from dust. Before returning to service after extended storage, inspect all bolts, tire pressure, brake function, and battery charge level.
7 · Safety & Rider Requirements
This vehicle is designed for riders age 18 and older. A motorcycle license or motorcycle endorsement is required to operate this vehicle on public roads — requirements vary by state; most states require a Class M license for a 168.9cc moped. IMPORTANT: This vehicle is NOT CARB certified and cannot be legally sold, registered, or operated in California. Always wear a properly fitted, approved helmet and appropriate protective gear — helmet is not included. Maximum weight capacity is 330 lb and must not be exceeded. Top speed of 55+ MPH is not suitable for sustained highway use.
8 · Break-in Period
We recommend a break-in period for the first 3–5 hours (approximately 300 miles) of riding. During this period, avoid sustained full-throttle operation and vary your speed to allow the engine and drivetrain components to seat properly. After break-in, perform an oil change and re-inspect and re-tighten all bolts. A properly completed break-in reduces early wear and extends the vehicle's service life.
