Remote Kill Switch + Speed Limiter β Two Layers of Parental Safety Control
The Storm 125 ships with a parent-operated wireless remote kill switch that shuts off the engine from up to 30 ft away, plus an adjustable speed limiter (throttle governor) that caps the throttle at a beginner-friendly setting. Competitor A and Competitor C in this 125cc youth ATV class do not include a parent-operated remote at this price point, and their speed-control approaches rely on the rider's self-restraint rather than a hardware cap. Two layers of active parental control, hardware-enforced, are the Storm 125's core safety differentiator.
119.6cc 4-Stroke + Fully Automatic D-N-R β Easy to Ride, Easy to Reverse
The Storm 125 runs a Guangyu 119.6cc air-cooled 4-stroke engine producing 5.3 kW at 7500 rpm, paired with a fully automatic Drive-Neutral-Reverse transmission. No clutch, no manual shifting β a beginner-friendly powertrain. The reverse gear simplifies tight backyard and trail maneuvering, a real-world convenience that not every youth ATV in this class includes.
Dual A-Arm Independent Front Suspension β A Real Engineering Upgrade
The Storm 125 uses dual A-arm independent front suspension. Each front wheel has its own upper and lower A-arms plus its own coil-over shock, allowing the wheels to articulate independently when one side hits a rut, root, or rock. Most entry-level 125cc youth ATVs use simpler fork-style suspensions where both front wheels move together β meaningfully less stable on uneven terrain.
Big 19"/18" Knobby Tubeless Tires + EPA Certified + LED Lights β Real Off-Road Configuration
Wide 19x7-8 front and 18x9.5-8 rear tubeless knobby tires deliver real off-road grip on dirt, grass, gravel, and mild mud β the surfaces a youth ATV actually encounters on private property and OHV trails. The EPA-certified engine is approved for use at designated OHV (Off-Highway Vehicle) parks across 48 U.S. states. A bright LED headlight and rear tail light keep the rider visible at dawn, dusk, and on shaded trails.

We built the Storm 125 for parents who want a 125cc youth ATV with active safety controls β the parent-operated remote kill switch and adjustable speed limiter are the core of the design. Best for kids and teens age 12 and up (or younger with the speed limiter set to a low cap and a parent holding the remote), riders 4'6" to 5'6" tall, and weighing 165 lbs or less. The 27.5-inch seat height keeps shorter riders flat-footed at a stop, building confidence from the first ride. Description
Layer 1 β Product Definition, Target Rider & Core Value
We designed the X-PRO Storm 125 for parents who want a 125cc youth ATV with real safety controls β not a stripped-down beginner quad, but a Guangyu-engined off-road machine with a parent-operated remote kill switch and an adjustable speed limiter built in from the start. This 119.6cc 4-stroke air-cooled ATV runs a fully automatic Drive-Neutral-Reverse transmission, reaches 35+ mph depending on rider weight and conditions, and supports up to 165 lbs of rider load. Built for kids and teens age 12 and up under adult supervision, with active parental safety tools that most ATVs in this price range simply do not include.
Layer 2 β Riding Experience, Differentiation & Performance
The dual layer of parental safety control is the single most important reason to choose the Storm 125 over a standard youth ATV. The remote kill switch lets a parent or supervising adult shut off the engine from up to 30 ft away with one button press β independent of the rider's hand position on the throttle. The adjustable speed limiter (throttle governor) caps how far the throttle can open, so a brand-new rider can start at a low, controlled speed and ramp up as confidence grows. Together, these tools give a parent direct, hands-on control over both top speed and emergency stopping β without taking the experience away from the rider.
Mechanically, the Storm 125 is built on a steel frame with a dual A-arm independent front suspension that lets each front wheel react to terrain on its own β a meaningful step up from the simpler fork-style suspensions on most entry-level 125cc quads. Wide 19x7-8 front and 18x9.5-8 rear tubeless knobby tires grip dirt, grass, gravel, and mild mud. Front drum and rear disc brakes provide reliable stopping power for a youth-rider weight class. The 27.5" seat height keeps shorter riders flat-footed at a stop, while LED headlight and tail light keep the ATV visible in low-light conditions. Six color options including Pink/Pink make the Storm 125 one of the rare 125cc youth ATVs with a purpose-built girl-rider color scheme.
Layer 2b β Usage Boundaries (Off-Road Only, 165 lbs Max)
The Storm 125 is for off-road use only. It cannot be registered or operated on public roads, highways, or any public property in any U.S. state. Designed for private land, farms, backyards, and designated OHV (Off-Highway Vehicle) areas. Maximum load capacity is 165 lbs β this is a youth ATV and is not suitable for most adult riders. Recommended minimum age is 12 (with adult supervision required at all times); children as young as 8 may ride only with direct parental control via the speed limiter and remote kill switch. This vehicle is EPA-certified but is not CARB-certified and cannot be legally sold or operated in the state of California.
Layer 3 β Brand Trust & After-Sales Commitment
X-PRO has operated in the U.S. powersports market for over 20 years as a licensed motorcycle dealer. When you buy the Storm 125, you are buying from a dealer with two company-owned warehouses in California and Texas, a U.S.-based support team, and a full OEM replacement parts inventory stocked before the vehicle goes on sale. Frame warranty: 1 year. Parts and battery warranty: 90 days. Support is handled in-house β not routed to an overseas contact form.

Why Buy From Us
Company History
The company behind X-Pro has been operating in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market for over 20 years. We are a licensed U.S. motorcycle dealer, not a dropshipper or a temporary marketplace seller. Our operations include product sourcing, compliance review, warehousing, fulfillment, after-sales support, and a dedicated parts inventory β all managed in-house from the United States.
The X-Pro Brand
X-Pro was established in 2018 as a dedicated powersports brand, built on over two decades of hands-on experience in the U.S. motorcycle and powersports market. The product line includes mopeds, scooters, dirt bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, go-karts, and electric powersports vehicles β all sold with full dealer backing.
When X-Pro entered the market, the affordable powersports space in the United States was largely defined by short-term sellers offering products with no replacement parts, limited or no after-sales support, and inconsistent quality control. Riders who wanted reliable support had to pay premium prices from established brands. X-Pro was built to bridge that gap.
Why Riders and Families Choose X-Pro
For some buyers, X-Pro is a practical first bike β a more manageable way to start riding without overcommitting on cost. For others, it is a way to get back into powersports without the higher purchase price and repair anxiety that often come with premium-brand machines. For riders who already own more expensive bikes, X-Pro can be the machine they are more willing to ride often, maintain practically, and use without turning every drop or scratch into a major financial event.
And for parents, X-Pro is often the answer to a simple question: how do you give your child the experience of riding β a dirt bike for the backyard, a go-kart for the weekend, an ATV for the family property β without spending several thousand dollars on a brand-name machine they may outgrow in two years? X-Pro makes that gift possible, backed by the same parts availability and warranty support that come with every unit we sell. Always ensure the vehicle's engine size, speed rating, and weight capacity are appropriate for the rider's age, size, and experience level.
This is what X-Pro is built on:
Accessible β a more practical entry point into riding and ownership. Supported β real parts availability and U.S.-based after-sales support. Accountable β dealer-backed operations with local warehousing and direct responsibility.
Warehouses & Fulfillment
We operate two company-owned warehouses β one in California and one in Texas. These are not third-party logistics (3PL) facilities; they are staffed and managed by our own team. Inventory is stored, quality-checked, and shipped directly from these locations, giving us control over packaging, inspection, and delivery timelines across the continental United States.
After-Sales & Warranty
Every complete unit is backed by a manufacturer warranty. Warranty claims and support requests are handled by our U.S.-based team β customers contact us directly through our website or marketplace messaging, and our team has access to inventory systems, warehouse operations, and product records to resolve issues efficiently.
Parts Availability
We maintain a full replacement parts inventory at our U.S. warehouses. Parts are stocked before vehicles are listed β not ordered from overseas after a customer reports an issue. Parts orders ship from the same facilities that handle complete units.
Team
Our team includes warehouse staff, customer support representatives, and technical specialists β all U.S.-based. When you contact us, you reach someone with direct access to our inventory, our warehouse, and your order records.
Warranty
Warranty Coverage
Every X-Pro complete vehicle is covered by a Limited Warranty:
- Frame: 1-year warranty against structural defects
- Parts: 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects (excludes normal wear and tear items such as tires, brake pads, chain, and bulbs)
- Battery: 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects
Warranty claims are handled directly by our U.S.-based support team.
Assembly & Setup
What's in the Box
Vehicle body (85% pre-assembled), 4 wheels (2 front + 2 rear), handlebar, front fender, front bumper, rear cargo rack, rear shock absorber, footrests (2), battery, tool kit, owner's manual. Helmet is NOT included β required for safe riding, sold separately.
What to Assemble
Mount front and rear wheels (intermediate β align brake disc and axle), install handlebar, front fender, front bumper, rear cargo rack, rear shock absorber, footrests (Γ2), and connect battery (Red + first, then Black -). Two-person assembly is recommended for wheel and rear shock installation.
Assembly Time
Approximately 45β60 minutes for someone with basic mechanical ability and common hand tools (wrench, screwdriver). First-time assemblers may take longer. Refer to the included owner's manual and the official YouTube assembly video (https://youtu.be/-95RqdC9_ww) for step-by-step guidance.
Before You Buy
1 Β· Stay Connected β We Need to Reach You
After your order ships, our team will contact you by phone and email to coordinate delivery. Answer calls from unfamiliar numbers β our team and your carrier may call from numbers you don't recognize. Check your email daily, including your spam folder, until your vehicle arrives. Without a valid, reachable contact number, your carrier cannot complete delivery. If we cannot reach you, your order may be returned at your expense.
2 Β· Shipping & Delivery β LTL Freight
Your Storm 125 ships via LTL (Less-than-Truckload) freight from our U.S. warehouse. The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment β make sure your contact information is current. Large freight trucks cannot enter narrow roads or tight residential areas. You must meet the driver at an accessible point, or arrange terminal pickup if needed. Inspect the vehicle carefully before signing the delivery receipt. If damage is found, note it on the receipt and contact us immediately with photos.
3 Β· Assembly & Setup
Professional mechanic assembly is highly recommended. Improper DIY assembly voids safety guarantees and can lead to mechanical failure β incorrect assembly is one of the leading causes of early issues with new vehicles. Regardless of who assembles it, you must tighten all bolts and apply thread-locker (Loctite) before the first ride. Vibration will loosen factory settings during use, causing parts to fall off or break. This is a required pre-ride step, not a defect.
4 Β· Engine Maintenance β Gas Models
Change the engine oil before your first ride β factory fill is a break-in oil not suitable for extended use. Skipping this step is the leading cause of engine seizure on new vehicles. Use fresh 87+ octane fuel only. Do not use high-pressure washers near engine or electrical components. Drain fuel for long-term storage. Store in a dry area.
5 Β· Real-World Performance
Top speed (35+ mph) and power output are measured under optimal lab conditions. Actual performance varies based on rider weight, terrain type, incline, and ambient temperature. Do not expect lab-rated results in all real-world riding conditions.
6 Β· Storage
For long-term storage (30 days or more), drain the fuel tank and run the carburetor dry to prevent varnish buildup. Disconnect the starter battery if storing for more than 30 days. Store the vehicle indoors in a dry, temperature-stable environment. Cover the vehicle to protect it from dust. Before returning the vehicle to service after extended storage, inspect all bolts, tire pressure, brake function, and refill with fresh oil and fuel.
7 Β· Safety & Rider Requirements
This vehicle is designed for riders age 12 and older. Riders under 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times β and the supervising adult should keep the wireless remote kill switch within reach. Always wear a properly fitted, DOT-certified helmet plus full protective gear (gloves, long sleeves, long pants, sturdy boots, eye protection) β helmet is not included. Maximum weight capacity is 165 lbs and must not be exceeded. This vehicle is for off-road use only and cannot be registered or operated on public roads, highways, or public property in any U.S. state. This vehicle does not meet California Air Resources Board (CARB) emission standards and is not for sale or use in the state of California.
8 Β· Break-in Period
We recommend a break-in period for the first 3β5 hours of riding. During this period, avoid sustained full-throttle operation and allow the engine and drivetrain components to seat properly. After break-in, change the engine oil and re-inspect and re-tighten all bolts. A properly completed break-in reduces early wear and extends the vehicle's service life.
